February 12, 2014 (Kenova, WV) Local Singer-Songwriter, Karen Spurlock, has partnered with the organization, LOVE146, by launching a fundraising campaign to help fight against human trafficking. “I decided to become an advocate for love146 after reading facts about human trafficking,” says Spurlock. “I realized how fortunate I am to live in an area that you don’t hear about that much, though it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening or could never happen. We can be so blind to things happening around us when our life is fine and unbothered.”
